Evidence standard
How game data is verified
Every firm compatibility claim should be traceable to an official store, developer, publisher, or support page.
Source priority
- Official developer or publisher documentation and support pages.
- Official platform store listings.
- Official announcements when a stable product page is unavailable.
Community wikis, social posts from unofficial accounts, videos, and editorial articles may help find a lead but do not become the sole evidence for player count, crossplay, or voice status.
Status rules
Crossplay
“Yes” requires clear official support. “No” requires a clear official limitation. Everything else is “Not officially confirmed.” Cross-progression is not treated as crossplay.
Players and co-op mode
The recorded minimum and maximum come from the official cooperative description. Local/couch and online modes are tracked independently.
Voice chat
Proximity, standard, none, and not-confirmed are separate values. We do not infer built-in voice from the general need to communicate.
Price and demos
Free, paid, and demo describe base access rather than a live regional price. Temporary promotions are not treated as permanently free.
Session length
We do not publish an estimate as a fact. Until an official source supports a useful range, the field remains “Not officially confirmed.”
Verification dates and corrections
Dates show when the cited source was checked, not when the game last received an update. A later official statement takes precedence over an older entry.
